October 2015 Newsletter

Dear Readers,

September usually begins the start of a new season. Summer makes its way out and fall moves in. Here in my lovely state of Connecticut, the days will get shorter, the air will get cooler, and the trees will begin to display shades of many colors. The harvest of ripening apples, and pumpkins beginning to reach their prime are the sure signs of fall where I live. As the season eventually changes, for some of us lifestyle changes are about to take place.

For myself, I am transitioning back into the classroom as a full time elementary school teacher with a new group of students who's minds are ready to learn new material for their new grade. As an author, I will be releasing new books which I hope will reach the hands of old and new readers. As the season changes from summer to fall, my lifestyle will be changing as I leave behind the carefree days of summer vacation and adjust to balancing my roles as a wife, mother, teacher, and author.

Are there any changes that are about to take place in your life? Is there a new season of your life that you're about to move into?

New seasons of life can be new visions about family, career goals, spiritual commitments, and so on. These new visions lead to new changes.

You may be a student starting a new semester in preparation of a new career. You could be starting a new business, starting a new job, writing a new book, going into ministry, becoming a parent, becoming a stay at home parent, the list is endless.

Whatever season you may be entering, whatever gifts you've been given, whatever talents you're developing, trust God to help you do them to the best of your ability. Do them with passion, and do them in love.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on you own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:5-6

SOLDIER WITH A BACKPACK - Living and Dying Simultaneously

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, the hidden love killer, is instrumental in creating a world of alienation in the human experience. “Soldier with a Backpack, Living and Dying Simultaneously” is written to form a silent unity of hope and understanding for individuals experiencing or knowing someone with PTSD and to reveal a needed truth about it.

She grew up with a tainted trust in adults, now that she has become one herself; Author Wattley began to learn why adults were so unhappy. She realized that stress and trauma had molded her into someone who felt unworthy of love, yet there was still something else willing her to life, telling her to share with the world that sufferers of PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder are more than words could ever describe.

Author Wattley shares the experienced impact stress and trauma has on the human soul and the price we pay ignoring this reality. It is with great urgency she intimately shares her plight in life with her readers. Being mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically raped as a child, she survived by learning to exist in an inner world of divine peace. Something happened to that little girl; she didn’t die nor did she live, yet much was lost while much was gained.
